Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the Pen; I was making my arounds on the third row of cellblock "N". When from down the run, there rose suck a clatter; shanks were swinging and the blood started to splatter. I went to the cell, to see what was the deal.

I saw a big ass inmate, holding some steel. He said he had been drinking; obviously he was drunk. He planned on making love to his cellie, and turning out a new punk. I laughed and walked off...for no apparent reason. It must have been in the drink, or it was just a festive season. As I was walking off the tank, I could hear them start to fight. I yelled "get off the ####ing noise, and have a good ####ing night!"
